These pictures were taken post-1980 pre-1990. They are some of my favorite young photos and I hope you enjoy them. (These pictures also prove that my hair was dark up until I turned ten and all the sun and chlorine turned it golden.)
Christine and I |
|
I was so excited when Christine was born. We was just like two peas in a pod. (1982) |
Being the fourth child was kinda fun. My older brother and sisters were pretty good at including me in what they were doing. We used to go play over at the Sorenson's house and we had a secret meeting spot in the woods and we all had fun little chairs to sit in. I think mine was an old carseat. (It probably looked pretty trailor trashy.) Hard to say. I was pretty young then, like four or five. Don't really remember. Only that it was fun. Jarilynne would tell us scary stories ("Bloody fingers!") and Brian and Chad and Michelle were pretty funny. We used to explore the woods in our back yard for hours on end on little adventures.
The Fam with the Liberty Bell |
|
This was our first big trip to visit our cousins in PA and we did tons of sightseeing. (1986) |
L to R: My dad Jared, Matt, Danelle (me), Jarilynne (w/bad 80s hair), Emily (our cousin), & Michelle. What was really embarrasing though was NYC. We were "leashed" to other family members with stretchy arm-bands to keep us from wandering off, incredibly demeaning even at that age.
Kindergarten (1985) |

This pic is so funny to me b/c I still know and see so many of the people in it |

Had a little biking accident earlier that week |
Man, what a goofy smile I had. I wonder if it had something to do with my overbite, or my vampire teeth. Sillyhead.
